ClearPoint Weather Software runs on Windows 2000, XP, or Vista.
An internet connection is required to receive weather data.
The minimum system configuration is:

• Pentium 4 1.5 GHz processor
• 512 MB RAM
• Screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels

Please download this file, saving it to your system, and then run it to install:

If you have been provided with a subscription ID and password, then go to the next step. If not, then signup for a subscription here.

After installing the software, start it by clicking on the ClearPoint Logo on your Windows desktop. Then click on the Options button located in the upper right corner. Enter your subscription ID and password into the fields provided.

If you have a GPS unit attached, click on the Options button and choose the Devices tab. Select the COM port to which your GPS device is attached. You may also need to configure the baud rate. Click OK to save your changes. After a few minutes, the GPS icon will turn green if a fix can be obtained. If you do not have GPS, or desire to set the location manually, first click on the GPS icon. Then click on the desired location on the map.

Once the location has been set, the application will automatically download weather data. There may be a delay of a few minutes until the download process begins. This delay is to allow time for an accurate GPS fix. If you do not receive weather data, then please ensure that you have an active internet connection, and that you have entered your subscription ID and password correctly.
